Stephen Holloway, O.D.
Dr. Stephen Holloway is a native of western Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 1998. He went on to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Vision Science in 2000 and received his Doctorate of Optometry in 2003. Dr. Holloway is highly skilled in examination, diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases, conditions, and abnormalities of the eye, such as dry eye, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration. In addition, he is experienced in fitting all types of contact lenses, including medically necessary contact lenses. He is credentialed in co-managing refractive, cataract, and other ophthalmic surgeries with our strong network of specialists.
Dr. Holloway joined Advanced Family Eye Care after having worked in optometric practices across western Pennsylvania (in Greensburg, Latrobe, and Uniontown) and at the Baltimore Veterans Hospital. He is comfortable with patients of all ages after his internship experiences at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in pediatrics and at the William Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center for low vision.
Dr. Holloway is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, and the Western Pennsylvania Optometric Society.

Outside of the office, Dr. Holloway enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He also volunteers as a baseball coach and soccer coach and enjoys being active in the community.
Tyler Dean, O.D.
Dr. Tyler Dean is a native of Western Pennsylvania. He graduated as the salutatorian of his class at Washington and Jefferson College in 2015 where he received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. He then attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he earned his Doctorate of Optometry in 2018. While at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Dr. Dean graduated with honors for all of his clinical rotations which include Wills Eye Hospital, Albert Einstein Medical Center and The Eye Institute of Philadelphia.
Dr. Dean has experience diagnosing, treating and managing a variety of ocular conditions such as cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. In addition he is experienced with fitting a variety of contact lenses including rigid gas permeable and scleral lenses.
Outside of the office Dr. Dean enjoys spending time boating, hunting and snow skiing. He currently resides in Mars, Pa and is extremely excited to be able to return to western Pennsylvania to provide quality eye care in the area where he grew up.
Brett Moore, O.D.
Dr. Brett Moore is from Lexington, NC. He studied Biology at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. He went on to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Vision Science in 2009 and received his Doctorate of Optometry in 2012. Dr. Brett is highly skilled in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration. He is well versed in co-managing the care of cataract, LASIK, and other ophthalmic surgeries with our excellent network of specialists. In addition, he is experienced in fitting all types of contact lenses.
After graduation, Dr. Brett practiced Optometry at his parent’s practice in Lexington, NC for five years before relocating to Mars, PA at the end of 2017. His wife, Dr. Amanda Frye, is from Gibsonia, PA and she practices Optometry in Butler, PA. Dr. Brett is family oriented and is excited to get to know his patients in the Zelienople and Ellwood City areas. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs Lily and Thor. They like going to Crossfit, playing golf, racquet sports, and video games together.
